ABOUT
Hannah Morris is a contemporary dance artist from Mississauga, Ontario. She began her training at Mississauga School of Dance, studying Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Lyrical, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Musical Theatre, and Acrobatics. As a member of their competitive team, she earned numerous awards, titles, and scholarships, while also assisting classes and summer camp programs in a variety of styles. She later continued her training at Sean Boutilier Academy of Dance, where she remained a dedicated competitive dancer.
Hannah recently graduated with a BFA in Contemporary Dance Performance from the Boston Conservatory at Berklee. During her time at the Conservatory, she performed works by Bill T. Jones, including D-Man in the Waters, and original pieces by renowned choreographers such as Joe González, Kurt Douglas, and Jarek Cemerek.
She has also expanded her experience through prestigious intensives, working with artists and companies including Eryn Waltman (Conture Dance), Jun Kuribayashi (Co/Motion), and Victor Quijada (RUBBERBAND Dance Group). Hannah is currently on staff with Breaking Bounds Dance Challenge, assisting at intensives and conventions with choreographers such as Annie Wood, James Kinney, Amber Perkins, Channing Cooke, Florian Lochner, and Desmond Richardson.
Now a working professional, Hannah teaches contemporary classes to students of all ages and choreographs competitive solos at studios across Canada. She is passionate about performance, collaboration, and storytelling through movement. Hannah is excited to begin this next chapter of her career and hopes to work professionally with contemporary dance companies, as well as in film and television.
